I editing already taes HOURS but I feel like with this editng software it adds on extra hours because of the amount of times it freezes from simply "cutting" a clip Whenever I have the app open and I move files into a folder or properly disconnect my camera from the computer - again, it will close without saving the wokr (the anxiety I get when I move and hope to not accidently unplug my camera) Yes even if I saved it and it randomly closed, it doesn't always recover the video so I'd have to start over. Sometimes the app randomly closes and I'll lose my work I'd have 20 minute videos and it would take up 2 hours to render I have to render my video more often than I sould Here are the issues I typically deal with when using this app: Truthfully the first couple of times I used this app it was AMAZING! After the third or fourth time using it, it started having glitches and not functioning properly. I’m hoping they put more QA time into their Mac version, because this would be an absolutely awesome video editing package if they did.
Being able to get additional themes, titles, transitions, and screen elements is something that iMovie is sorely missing, and not everyone wants to take the leap to put in the hours learning Final Cut. There are some other small things, but the developers are definitely headed in the right direction. There isn’t an ability to put a transition between a title slide and a video clip - you can only add them between video clips, which makes for extra work to get a smooth transition betweent titles and video. Filmora does as well, but sometimes it just decides to exit fullscreen a few times when you’re playing through your video. Most video editors will allow for the play/stop to be triggered by the space bar. The execution is pretty good, but there needs to be some substantial QA put into this before it will be ready to take on iMovie. This is essentially like a beefed-up Camtasia that’s geared toward video editing - I love the concept.
